So if the mechanic decides to add things that weren't originally requested, why would the customer have to pay for that? Especially if he still fails to add some of the requested things...

When I get an oil change, they grease my joints even though I don't ask for it.

So you will happily pay also for the CD player they installed without asking (even if you had one waiting at home to be installed by yourself), not to mention the luxury trailer they attached to your car for you?

And yet you don't mind if they didn't change the oil, one of the reasons you took your car for repair in the first place...

So it's better to just say that "sorry, we don't believe you will pay, so we will do no business with you" rather than "OK, let's see the money first..."

Well that doesn't make sense.
It's "We don't believe you, show us the money, then we deliver goods." not "Oh, you promise? Here you go, have over a million dollars worth of work. I'm sure you'll pay us someday..."

I don't really know what you mean with that...

If you mean that Hyperion actually agreed to the million deal and were just waiting for the money, that's news to me. I thought that the offer wasn't accepted. But I might be wrong, so correct me

Lou you keep posting and implying that the $25K was to pay Hyperion for the work they did on the OS, but it wasnt. Once you realize that and understand they were buying the OS for $25K, not paying for work to be done for $25K, most of your arguements fall apart.
