Still offline - what's going on there?

Should we search for an investor buying the rights?

Yes, we should! If you mean; "should Hyperion/Acube/A-EON buy the rights?"

@Birbo

Nothing changed since this thread started in february:
http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=30771&forum=2#550775

However, there were some signs of activity on the Amiga.Inc side - patent dispute with commodoreusa.

@pavlor

Who is Amiga Inc. today? I think, just 1 Person: Bill McEwen.

What I heard from the others, they had to search a new Job.

@Akiko

Yeah, they'd have probably lost the source code within a month of having it back anyway. Rest assured we'd have never seen any products involving AmigaOS ever again! These well meaning people who do nothing to forward the platform make me sick. They try and come across as nice but end up screwing everything up. I really hope with Pentti Kouri having passed away that Amiga Inc go the same way. The Amiga brand would be better off in the hands of USB Memory Stick manufacturers than in Bill's hands!!!!

And it doesn't look they secured OS3.9 either. To this day I am haunted by OS3.9 software that won't work with OS4 because it misses OS3.9 features. Mostly installer scripts. If OS4 doesn't support the new commands I wish it would ignore them instead of giving errors. It seems a bit ridiculous that a simple script doesn't work with a "later" version of the OS because those features were removed.

So I wish Amiga Inc had ar least secured the rights to OS3.9! Where are H&P now? Where is their AmigaSO3,9 x86? Kidnappers!

@BigD

No response at all.

I tried to contact Vince Pfeifer - but nothing...

GoDaddy.com -> BuyDomain-Service: No response from Amiga.

Other options?
