Whilst everything has some bias - this set of events seems closest to the truth and my own understanding of everything that has gone on since the disaster of AInc.

It is an interesting site with some snippets that I had missed. It is also well support with third party information which lends it a high level of credibility.

Odd hobby for and apparent Mac fan. Quick google reveals a long neglected A.org user account.

I read (and even wrote...) too much propaganda, so I can really recognize it...

I can´t dispute presented facts. But all facts must be put together by someone - guided by his original intention. I fear that intention of author of respective article was nothing but effort to bash Amiga.Inc.

Not according to him.

One of his quotes:

Quote:
In any case, I am not expecting to be anonymous to authorities (or to Amiga, if they are determined). But I also don't have much to contribute myself. I am not a witness more than anyone of you here is.

My estimate is that there are 50-200 people worldwide who are extremely interested in Amiga and contribute to a majority of posts, checking in every day on one or more sites. For them, Amiga is between a hobby and an obsession. These members are obviously technically skilled, knowingthe Amiga history and itsinternals quite well, leading to a constantevolution of posts.Butcan a few dozen users making noise justify millions of dollars in investments and expenses?

Surely there are more than 200 of us

Edit: There's 4539 members here, how of of those are "extremely interested" ?

I don't as virtually everything said there is true. Also with videos you can watch some of the embarrassment yourself.

The admins could run a query to check within a 30/60 day period just how many individual accounts were accessed. That would give you an idea. Of course there could be some with more than one account but that should be quite a small number.

I think that the Amiga memories still hold with a lot of people but those that are actually following it - I cannot see it being more than 500.

@-Sam-

Actually, AW has, in the past, done a purge of accounts who have not logged in for 365 days or more. Reports of what was done, when and the "real" numbers are public if you search this site.
I won't link that, because I get accused of making everyone depressed when I do...
