| Jamie has some nice ideas for his AVD project. Hopefully he will be able to finish it this time around, in a reasonable timeframe. Like within a year or so.
Would be nice to have Rigo do a similar presentation of Codebench and where it's headed.
Btw a bit off topic but how good and finished is Codebench now? Especially compared to AVD?

I really appreciate the work you put into recording, editing, and publishing these AmiWest videos, and a BIG thank you from me for getting my talk on AVD up there as well!
Best Regards,
Jamie Krueger

| Software from Jamie are very nice, on video all of this looks pretty professional (sdk browser are very handy too btw).
@Jamie How far you from release of GUI builder ? (that one which i wait very much, because writing gui from code its just loose the time, but usage of very nice and highly customised build are very helpfull).

At this time I'm looking at 3 to 6 months of full time development to bring the GUI Builder to version 1.0 (public release). The current Alpha version is actually good enough to write the graphical interface building code into the AVD Template source tree. Which makes it usable to "stub out" the sources where you can fill in the code for when each gadget object is hit, using your own editor. What is needed next is the ability for the GUI Builder to maintain the code segments for each gadget event, so that the graphical tool can be used to make changes to your project later on.
In other words the current v0.20.0.48 build can be used to create and generate an application with a given interface which you can take from there and start to fill in the event handling sections; but it is not far enough along yet to reload that application and include your changes so the program can be modified and regenerated after it is first built.
I am near the end of my current contract work, so if I had enough funding coming in I could transition to full time development on the GUI Builder. Otherwise I will continue to put as many hours into it as possible.
Best Regards,
Jamie Krueger
