Even before Des Moines was thinking of starting a user group, I had been tinkering with the idea of starting up a new group here in Kentucky. The ASK (Amiga Society Kentuckiana) group has been inactive for a long time. The group would include the surrounding states.

It would be called MOK. This could stand for...

Midwest Offline Knowledgbase
Minnesota Ohio Kentuckiana (of course it would include WVA, VA, and TN)
Middle Of Knowhere (my personal favorite)

The main question is if there is any interest.

For some reason, the poll is not showing up.

@PhantomInterrogative

My only concern, though I'm too far across the globe to join, is that "MOK Amiga User Group" sounds like a club for mocking Amiga users. Just sayin'.

@Hypex

You raise a valid objection. If we wanted mocked, all we would have to do is say something in favor of any flavor AmigaNG system in any of the forums here.

@PhantomInterrogative

Ha! Or the new way of stirring up trouble. The Vampire. Is an Amiga still a real Amniga with a Vampire?
