I would like to proudly announce, that I've successfully connected and
configured a SonyEricsson GC75 GPRS PCCARD modem to my A1200! Most of
people at PPA.pl forum were sure that using PC Card GPRS modems will
never work in A1200,but I've taken the risk and it works just fine.
Here are some requirements:
- SonyEricsson GC75 PCCARD GPRS modem
- CardReset patch
- Term030 terminal (or any other terminal with selectable device)
- PCCardSerial.device
- Genesis TCP/IP stack
- OS3.9 (non-tested on other OS versions)
- Modelling knife:)

GC75 is the only card I know that is 16bit and accepts both 3.3 and
5Volts.To put it into A1200 slot,it's neccesary to cut off the tab on
the left side of card.Thicker tabs in 32bit PCCards means that it works
only with Cardbus specification interface.I don't know why SonyEricsson
has used this thicker tab in card which could be used with 16bit/5V
interface.
To "turn On" the card, first we must have a cardreset patch working. Then we
need to put a following line in Term030:

AT+CFUN=1,1

If Term will return with ERROR,type this command again.Term will return now
with OK message.
To enable the GPRS transmission, type the following command

AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP",""

where is your gsm provider's address,i.e. www.plusgsm.pl .The "phone"
number for GPRS transmission should look like this:

*99***1#

Using Term,Dial command will be: ATD*99***1# .
When you want to use Genesis,DON'T USE GenesisWizard. It's neccessary to edit
the script by your own.If you will have any troubles with that part, please
contact me (bikersnake@wp.pl).

Important Note for towerised-Amigas: The antenna supplied with GC75 is not
capable to operate inside the tower-case of your Amiga. You will need a
any GSM Antenna.I'm using a GSM900/1800/1900Mhz Car Antenna with GC75/89
connector.

If you have any questions, comments or you know any 16bit GPRS/EDGE PCCard,
please feel free to contact me:
