| Hi all,
My Minimig arrived this morning and I have been working hard (PHEW!) by taking pictures and adding them to my scruffy site!
www.loriano.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk
(I really hope Frontpage hasn't made a mess of it....)
Part two to come soon (formatting of the SD-Card permitting) with all the juicy bits; connecting, configuring, software compatibility and performance
Enjoy the pics!
Bye for now... Last edited by TheDaddy on 25-Feb-2008 at 11:14 PM.

Not sure why you have created yet another thread for this, but thanks for the announcement so far.
Oh, I think this would better fit in the "Classic Amiga Hardware" than in the "Amiga Development" forum. |

Oh the excitment!
I am going to start in a minute, I have already taken a few pictures and I am formatting my 2GB SD-Card card in FAT16 right now...
I might be up until late tonight.
I can say that I am very impressed from what I have seen so far. Nice black box and manual, the guys at ACube have done a good job, but more on the review later... _________________ www.loriano.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk |

Your work on the website with those pictures surely embodies the excitement of Christmas, I must say.
The 500 was our family's first home computer. Only went for the A1200 because of the promise of ethernet/memory/harddisk expansion and the fancier color of course. But, all the big games we ever bought were for the A500. And *NOW* you won't have to have 2 disk drives and swapping floppies all the time!
Looking forward to more blogging on your experience.
Good on you.

| Nice a Neat... Looks like a really good purchase.
What kind of casing options are there?
Also software wise what if I want to buy some games from the Amiga 500 catalog? It would be nice if there was a web site with say 30,000+++ titles all ready in ADF format for immediate PayPal payment and downloading.
