| Going off the photos and AO thread, its unfortunately only the 68000 mainboard of Lorraine, the actual board henge that IS the chipset seems to have been forgotton about, or as others have mentioned, might have been in the pile when thrown. Back in 1997, 13 years ago, so nothing can be done.
From various rumors and posts, if the entire system had been available in one place, there were only 5 units made, due to all the chipset being hand wired, literally, so this wouldve been 20% of global production.
Still, wouldve been intresting to see a 68000 CPU socket accelerator stacker 060 board with the CSPPC tower in it, just to see if it could handle OS4.
Hey, If we dont do insane things, noone else will, and we will never learn to cook food with fire, get large brains, and invent a way to get away from this single planet restrictive enviroment before the next big rock.

| Hi all,
I can make out some date codes on a few chips and they look like 84. Right time.

| This is a time where we need Dave Haynie to log on and confirm or deny what we have here. It could make or break the auction! _________________ Amiga A1200, 3.1 ROMs, Blizzard 1230 MKIV 64MB & FPU, 4GB DoM SSD, Workbench 3.1 |

Last time I saw Haynie on the scene, he was urinating on "Xorro" and the whole promise of the A1X1K in general and all the hype surrounding it. Keep that in mind y'all. (the truth tastes sour doesn't it? Also, as a person who has shipped products with xmos devices, I can say y'all wont have XC on the A1X1K.) It would be nice to hear what he has to say about this item. _________________
