2.8 (6.9.2008)
Fixed WINDOWWIDTH and WINDOWHEIGHT.
Implemented popup menus for with up to 25 entries.
JavaScript can open windows now.
Implemented statusbar text.
Title and URL are updated now.
Built current version of libxml2. It seems most of the OWB crashes were caused by bugs in the old libxml2, for example with the new version OWB doesn't crash on the ACID3 test.
Implemented JavasCript alert requester.
Added charset support to the clipboard functions. When using cut or copy it writes the UTF-8 CSET chunk now, for pasting it supports US-ASCII, ISO-8859-1 and UTF-8 and replaces unknown chars in all other charsets by '?', if there is no CSET chunk it's treated as ISO-8859-1.
Added iconify support.
Updated to SVN revision 472.

Thanks Joerg for new libxml2. Now myspace page doesnt crash anymore on login. Tested 2 times now. Thanks also for the popup menues. OWB is more and more usable here. Only thing needed now is download/upload of files and then we are going places. I still use owb2.2 to upload/download files.

EDIT: www.pricerunner.se does crash OWB2.8 here ;(

This version is very good. Had no issues with it so far, though have only been using it for an hour or so :)

Even a content heavy site as http://www.football365.com/ works...

It loads OK here but I haven't tried logging in. I incremented my version each time as they were released over the top of the previous one.

This development is really impressive. I just made a donation to Jorg to encourage him to implement tabs, downloads and plug-ins.

Why troll about the Sputnik money. We all know it will go to Marcik when his finished with the port. There is always new and fresh money that users can send to Joerg and other developers if they like their software and have money. They have paypal.

Yes but I think smooth rendering of OWB will come whit AmigaOS4.1.

For now I think rendering speed is ok.

In http://digilander.libero.it/flq/immagini/OWBdoduo there is a screen shot of OWB with icons instead of words in the tool bar. Is this a feature of using it in OS4.1, or should I be able to get icons in mine too? (Not that I can't read the words...)
