Seems a good game but using "search" feature in Amigaworld.net also seems that none made an article about it...

There is just this thread speaking of it...

http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=12621&forum=15#250372

And it is just related on how to port the 3D engine of this game on Amiga...

Then seems that none spotted or tested it... Isn't it? Anyone downloaded this game and played it?

@Kicko
After a bit of detective work, I managed to find it here:
http://os4depot.net/index.php?function=showfile&file=game/action/nogravity.lha

You also need to download the data file. I think the XP ones should be ok, but not yet tried:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/nogravity/rt-nogravity-data.zip?webpage

Would try it, but my Sam440 isn't booting at the moment

@NutsAboutAmiga

Colours have been fixed since 2005

I've played it a bit but it was too slow with the software renderer. Even when I turned nearly all graphivs features. The idea of the game looked good though.

@Evillord68

Mouse and Keyboard are probably no match for a working Joy Stick.
Game controls are too sensitive for mouse I think!

Where can I download v2.0 (2006) from? I only have v1.98 (2005).

How did people get it to work on OS4.1? On my Sam440 it immediately crashes. GrimReaper reports that "Crash occured in module PCI_GamePortHornet.driver", with the stack being damaged. I tried increasing the stack from 32768 to 3276800 without luck.

@ChrisH

This is interesting. GamePortHornet.driver should not even be installed on a Non-Classic-Amiga (it is for attaching a Hornet Sega Pad to the port of a classic Amiga). Normally it SHOULD be ignored on a non-Classic, but seems for you it wasn't for some reason. It is safe to delete the Driver on a Sam, anyways.

funny, it works on os4classic out of the box. no sound but not that i really care. it is not even awfully slow, not slower than some other ports, and i ve got only 150hz. with some 3d hw acceleration it might even be enjoyable

@Raffaele

Go to this sites Listings Page, and you will see that we have already tested it, and it has worked nicely, no bad colours or anything alike, all good,

http://web.aanet.com.au/~BlitterWolf/listings.html

I still find it amazing, that every now and then a thread pops up, whereby we have already tested a gameor software for sam users, just like this one, to help fellow sam users get a guide of what works and doesnt work with their gear.

Sorry, dont mean to sound frustrated or anything.

If any of you like, you can download three StarGus wallpapers from our downloads section.

Our homepage site url is :

http://web.aanet.com.au/BlitterWolf

Cheers.

@MagicSN
I removed Libs:AmigaInput/PCI_GamePortHornet.driver and it then crashed on PCI_GamePort.driver . So then I just went and removed ALL of these:

PCI_SoundCardHornet.driver
PCI_Soundcard.driver
PCI_sblive.pci
PCI_GamePort.driver
PCI_GamePortHornet.driver

Now NoGravity works on my OS4.1 (Sam440). It even has sound! I tweaked the options, and got *nearly* playable speeds (I guess 10 fps).

@ChrisH

Strange, it plays nice on my sam440ep, and thats with the standard Onboard graphics.

Only when you fly into the sun/moon/planet in the practice mode, does the sound stutter a little.
