| Hi ALL! any news on a new port of"Battler for Wesnoth" on AmigaOS4? On main site is reported that version 1.6.4 was out and we have only 1.4.7 that's woking ok but newver maybe better?

Until I have a working port of libpangocairo there won't be any updated Wesnoth compiles for AmigaOS 4.x. Unfortunately it's not as easy as just compiling libpango/libpangocairo for AmigaOS 4.x. As it happens it needs glib which in turn needs gettext. Both of which are a serious pain in the ass to compile. |

I wonder if on sam board sworks... On my A1SE(@666) works a bit slower but fully playble...

The latest "stable" version of Battle for Wesnoth is "1.6.4" and the latest "development" version is "1.7.1".
The AmigaOS 4.0 version is only old because I haven't yet been able to compile any version >= "1.5.1" because of the missing dependencies mentioned previously in this thread. |

Same here (Sam440Ep@667Mhz). The ingame scrolling is a bit problematic, cpu reaches 90% when "cpu is thinking" and overall is above 70% when facing and/or moving lots of units.
The game is playable though but if you play for more than two hours straight there is a chance of getting a headache._________________

Since today the Wesnoth 1.8 was released fo MOS and we are still locked at 1.4.7, ther's any chance to get latest Wesnoth compiled for AmigaOS4.x too or the still some missing dependencies here? Thanks!
