I don't think anyone would suggest using Sam440 to play hard-core Q3 clan matches! But single player should be OK, as long as you don't carry expectations from the Windows world.

3D is not OS4's strong point, nor is the Sam's CPU ideal for less-old 3D games, so I would not suggesting getting a Sam440 for that. But if you already have one, Quake 1, 2 & 3 can provide some casual fun (Quake 2 is pretty good). I wouldn't have even considered trying to play Quake 3 on my old Blizzard PPC A1200, so it's nice that Sam440 can manage it at all!

Anyway, I have a Windows machine if I want to play 3D games. Chances of Amiga getting Half Life 2 or Far Cry 2 are pretty slim :)

(P.S. Everything is at default unless specified otherwise, including FOV.)
