YAM's nightly builds must be considered unstable from time to time. As a user of the nightly build you know about this fact must be prepared for such situations. There have been a lots of changes recently due to the new multiple identity support, which should have become quite clear when reading the Changelog of the nightly builds.
So please report the bugs you encounter to YAM's bug tracker instead of asking in public fora. We cannot read each and every forum. There is already a ticket for this issue. And please keep in mind to always add the crashlog if YAM crashes for you. Without this vital information we cannot help you. Bug reports like "it crashes" or "it doesn't work" without further information don't help us to find the true cause. _________________ Why stop it now, just when I am hating it?

Absolutely, I've seen that this is reported and it is possible to ignore the DSI-error and continue to write and send the e-mail so it's ok for now and like you said you use the nightly bulids at your own risk. Otherwise it's really stable and as nice as ever . |

While we're in a YAM thread: The last public release had an annoying bug in the folder pane to the left where the folder names column was shrunk into a few pixels and thus invisible everytime YAM was started. Has this been fixed? If so, I might consider switching to a nightly build.
Using public OS4.1.4 and last public YAM, whatever version that is... _________________ - Don't get fooled by my avatar, I'm not like that (anymore, mostly... maybe only sometimes) > Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft. |

The only thing in this respect I know about is the missing vertical separator bar in the folder tree's title bar. This makes it a bit hard to resize the column as you don't know where to click (if the custom mouse pointer is not activated in NList's prefs), but not it is not impossible. The bar has been readded for YAM 2.8-dev. If there is something else happening with the folder tree then nobody else complained about that so far. Please remember to snapshot YAM's window to make the column settings permanent. Otherwise they will be reset to the former state upon restarting YAM. And this is nothing new, but has been this way since about 10 years now.
If you really switch over to the nightly builds of YAM 2.8-dev then please keep a copy of your current .config file and there have been major changes recently and simply going back to YAM 2.7 with the updated .config file might cause any kind of funny or unwanted things. You have been warned! _________________ Why stop it now, just when I am hating it?
