Hello!

As I am planning a new release of my tool (available from OS4 Depot), I would like to know if you have any idea / feature that you would like to have implemented.

Special thanks to all who sent artwork contributions for Workbench icons, you know who you are :)

Last but not least, it would be interesting to compare speed results here, perhaps we can arrange a benchmark in a dedicated topic?

Kind regards

@Massi

Add a docky possibility, with realtime down and Up curve, like the CPU docky.

One click on the docky give the actual statistic.

@Massi

I think that a nicer gfx will be a really nice feature :)
Also statistic for up and down - loading and docky function will be nice :)

@All

Thanks for your suggestions.

My to do list is:
- Workbench drawer and application icons
- Display of Gateway
- String gadgets rendered with custom background and text colors
- Make the window to always stay in front of all others (driven by a popupmenu)

@Massi

As the program more or less works just fine how about adding a proper locale support ?
Also an AmiUpdate functionality would be cool

A new version of my tool is now available from OS4 Depot.
It now features a proper Workbench drawer and application icons.

@Massi

I go along with Mrodfr's idea of a docky that shows results of download and upload speeds if that's possible!

I like the new icons, vey nice

@Massi

I would like two small graphs with up/download speed. Perhaps scaled either to maximum of the line, or to a bit higher than last known maximum speed. Like if you have 1Mbit cable but a 100Mbit network card, the graph would look very uninteresting Therefore it needs to scale in realtime to the highest known speed or something. Would be cool

(Note: Here and now I'm not sure if it is your tool I have at home which shows only text, or if your tool already have such fancy gfx.)

An idea as the Internet test for example this:
http://www.testdevelocidad.es/

I'm sorry it is that I use and it is in spanish, because the program is perfect the option of docky is the other alternative.

Great app and the GFX are looking snappy. I would love to see a docky as well :)

My other feedback would be to condense the display so that one page had the current IP, bandwidth, and transfers.

Keep up the great work!

Yes, a sort of graphical Speedometer would be nice!

All countries seem to have that type of presentation on the Web (in Sweden):

At this stage I am collecting as much feedback as possible, later on I will try to merge all people contributions with my ideas, see what I can do :)

Thank you all.

@Nicsoft

Well, I have done a comparison with my link and your link, and my Internet supplier doesn't lie me with the speed, in Spain we have the Internet very slow but very expensive.

You are not alone ... Here in Italy, depending on where you live, when it comes to the use of technology, you can say it is a developing country ...

Just dowloaded latest version, any chance of implementing a docky so can have it running all the time and see network speeds at all times?

@sicky

Well, I am now rather satisfied with it.

Anyway I agree with who would like to have it as an AmiDock plugin with eye catching graphics. I will think of it, see what I can do. For sure donations would motivate the project a lot. Hard recession time here in Italy ...

An AmiDock plug-in would be so cool, thank you for considering doing it

I will make a donation when I get paid, we are in recession here in the UK too.......
