Hi,

I recently installed Jack 4.0 on my Sam460ex and it failed to open causing an error such as this:

"Can't read file applaunchicon - File:calendar.hws (current line: 350 - In Function LoadBrush)"

I uninstalled it and installed the latest version 4.02. Now it doesn't do anything upon program launch. If I try to run it again and a requester pops up complaining that it is already running. Apparently I have the Invisible version of Jack 4.0...

What gives? MUI issues? Bad Luck?\

I got the same so I Googled for everything Jack requires and file by file I downloaded 3 missing files: AISS.lha [seach for AISS Amiga, download and install], MCC_TheBar-26.12.lha and one more thing but I cant remember. After that [few reboots] - new Jack will start :)

I have to say - Well done for Jack. Very useful and all in one place :)

Thanks. After installing The Bar 26.12, jack will loads but it takes upwards to 2 minutes to pop up.

The latest version of AISS I can find is 4.12, though I see mention of 4.2 but no where to download it.

Any ideas of what is causing the long The long load times of jack 4.02?

Same here. But Jack appears after 20 seconds or more... I suppose it collects some data from server [time and weather] and then appears...?

Yes it is 4.12
