| I really love CygnusEd, but there are occassions where I would really like to open it in a window as opposed to opening on its own screen. Is this possible and can someone tell me how to do this?
Thanks |

I think settings are in menu. At least that was the case when I changed from window to own screen.
Menu: Enviroment/GlobalSettings/Set screen type and size (or Duplicate Workbench size) |

| The menu is called "Global", it's the second menu from the left, and the top item is called "Open on public screen...".
This is referring to the latest version, of course: 5.60.
Best regards,
Niels

| Thank you; I didn't know that too. I've set it up to open on the middle of the screen, take lower space and changed font to bigger so finally CED looks more similar to Notepad :)
Just if I could set it's shortcuts to more standardized ones [like quick word markings with Shift + Arrow Left or Right] and similar, it would be great... :)
Currently I use Notepad for all quick text editings. For example, I type in Shell: Notepad S:User-Startup to quickly edit txt files.

It's not changed since 3.5... it's something you've always been able to set. _________________ OS4 Rocks X1000 beta tester, Sam440 Flex (733)

Best regards,
Niels

On a completely irrelevant sidenote to that :) shift-selection in text has never been an Amiga standard. The User Interface Style Guide uses Shift+arrow keys to jump the cursor in whole words (or was that extreme positions like end of line/start of line - can't remember just now) and Amiga+B to enter selection mode. But, as I said, probably a quite irrelevant sidenote :)

I would have brought the new version ages ago if I could get confirmation that VAT would be removed when I brought it even on the downloadable version
Same with m68k roadshow
They seem to like making it news but won't answer any questions regarding the product LOL
What was your experience regarding it?
