@Seiya

Looks like a video of the game runing on AmigaOS played on some other machine, you see him fast forward etc, so not a theme.

@Seiya
This was a live recording from my AOS4 machine (sam460ex, R200, my current Warp3D driver build) using an Elgato grabber.
Besides that there were AOS4, MOS and AROS machines at mine and Cinemare's booth to try it out.

@retro

for what Bzili write about in another thread ... there is nothing to do with Unity Engine

have unity will be great because will open the door of 10000 of portings

Of course not. It does mean that this game is ported to NG Amiga systems.
Porting Unity ... Erm, and how many man-milleniums, giant piles of bucks etc. shall such a Sysiphus-effort take (not even considering the technical problems of not existing shader support etc.)?
Please be realistic. Even porting such a comparably (!) simple modern game like "Wings Remastered" takes several man-months of work.
Unity on Amiga-system just won't happen. Most likely never.

I would like to know the requirements (for Wings Remastered Edition - Amiga OS 4)..!
For example: Does it need a graphics card with Warp3D compatibility?

How about this;

http://www.godotengine.org/projects/godot-engine

http://www.gamefromscratch.com/post/2015/01/04/A-Closer-Look-at-the-Godot-Game-Engine.aspx

I assume the same issue as with Unity.

I guess what I should have asked;

In general, how viable is it to convert any game engines from windows enviroment to AOS?

After reading the Amiga Future's interview with Daniel I got the impression he got his own solid engine for easy compliation across all the "Amiga" platforms. So Im assuming there is little incentive for him to waste massive amount of hours to convert game engines.

Basically; Is the practical hurdles of converting Unity the same for Godotengine/any other engine?

Considering he mentioned Sisyphus, I guess the answer is yes

I have to admit that it's a tad too early to give you 100% valid min. specs. After all it's just three weeks ago that I really started coding
I can say for sure that it will run on any "NG-Amiga" (or is it "AmigaOS compatible" ) with Warp3D for Radeon / RadeonHD.
However my goal is to also support Compositing via the z-buffer-hack etc. I came up with when I coded "Wings Battlefield". But since I did not implement the Strafing-missions yet I cannot promise this at this point (in one or two weeks I can tell you more).
I will also try to make it playable on "Classics" with PPC and Radeon Warp3D. Since Wings Battlefield ran on those and since the latest R200 patches I made allow for DXT texture compression now, this is not too unlikely (the DXT feature gives Wings Battlefield a massive boost). But it is also a bit too early to really promise that.
For completeness:
any MorphOS machine with TinyGL capable gfx-card will do; any AROS x86 machine with 3D acceleration will do.

@Overflow
@Rob
Godotengine:
Well, I don't know this one, I only quickly checked the article you linked to etc. From this it looks like a decent engine, with a fraction of what Unity can do though.
Since it's not so feature-rich, open-source and royalty-free etc., well, I suppose it's not as impossible to somewhat port it as Unity would be I cannot give more valid comments on this one because I simply have no deeper knowledge of this thing.
But yes, you are right: even if it would be possible, I have no interest in porting such a thing at all. Last not least because I'm no fan of construction-kits / bloated "jack of all trades" engines

@klapdeur
I just asked a Cinemaware-guy about the site. He told me that while the site is still being built you already can register for updates at least.

No, Tower 57 work hasn't started yet. The guys have to finish the game first (well, at least almost)

OK. Thanks for the info! My Sam 460ex is "sadly enough" equipped with a 1 GB Radeon HD 4550 card, other Sam-users I know have Radeon HD 4650 cards. Neither is Warp3D compatibel - at least yet...

So perhaps we have to buy new graphics cards?
(If Warp3D is "out of the question" for these cards)
