Nö! Never! Im Not a productive type. At least not in the Common Sense here. I do Not produce rounded corners or algorhytmic boundaries. Im sure im Not able to catch up with Hondo whatever he already did for this Community. And as for Humor, where do you See Humor ? Im dead serious.

Don't worry wawa you would never reach my level of dedication anyway. Just stick to being a OS4 troll, which is the only thing you actually do.

Just to make it clear to everybody, I can afford my own system next year, and are not "begging" for a system. I only thought hey maybe I can actually do some serious work with some spare system lying around somewhere, nothing else. I only want to help the great AmigaOS and the fabulous AOS community.

LET'S KEEP THIS PARTY GOING!!

Edit: I forgot to mention the fact THAT I DESPERATELY WANT TO TRY THE NEW AMIGA OS 4.1, AND CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY GREASY FINGERS ON THIS BEAUTIFUL NG AOS OPERATING SYSTEM....DAMN!

@wawa

This thread is not about generally just coming to take the mickey out of a company or their product. If you don't like the OS or the hardware - fine, that is your choice. However, please do not take it upon yourself to chime in on various threads and derail them with off-topic drivel which you may deem as being humourous.

Consider this as a warning over your current posting behaviour.

I maybe don't own a copy of os4, but I've been promoting this platform to everybody the last 20 years, and have bought several amigas in my time. You on the other hand own a copy of os4, but sadly fight this platform all the time. I have nothing more to say to you.

@Hondo

You are not the first nor the last one promoting OS4 while don't owning / using it. My suggestion is to revert to a neutral position because after using you might change your mind.

@Hondo

I do not want to start some sort of bashing or anything like that but generally it is sometimes strange that there are people heavily pushing their "choice" with sentences in profile like this "X1000 - one Amiga to rule them all" and their postings (and you are not the only one) without owning it. I personally do not push something I do not have or use and I do not make any comparations or judgements either (because I do not have enough knowledge without using AOS or MOS) except general comments and comparations like hardware availability or prices. But I would never say X is better than Y or X is the best or anything like that.

And that is a general view of me (not only regarding Hondo or OS4). It would be good if only people would do judgements when they really have experiences with the different platforms. Then you can also discuss without insulting. I sometimes have the impressions that most users have strong and firm views about the different platforms but only a small minority has experiences with the different platforms and those who have no experience solve the missing experience with emotions. And that leads to the typical emotional discussions...

I'm suprised, maybe all former postings from you got a new meaning. You are acting like some kind of a super sarcastic anti AOS4 troll doing a parody on all those AOS4 believers.

If those people get OS4 in the end, why not being busy doing useful things?

There is no much dissapointment for those who compare it with OS 3.x, not MacOSX or Linux.

Sorry to dissapoint you Arko, but I meant every word and really really really look forward to try AmigaOS again. You see the last time I used it was 3.9 - and theres been some slight changes since then right

If those people get OS4 and they are happy with their experience, feel free to tell us. Until then they are in no position to judge how good the system is.

But they CAN desire at AND learn about it, even PROMOTE it, or you never desired something before you have it?

Denying them right to do so is way worser.
