| Hi,
I need another 15 orders for the new batch of white Minimig enclosures, so please keep them coming. Only 15 more.
I am going to pay for the rest of the order myself somehow (I have already started selling some of my precious Amiga stuff on ebay to finance it; boxed games and some other hardware bits).
Once I have raised enough money I'll make a prototype of one of my designs for the SAM/SAM Flex so I would like you to vote for your favourite shape.
Thank you.

| I prefer tower, although my SAM is in first category, because I have already 5 towers in my room. _________________

So what would you vote for a new SAM case? _________________ www.loriano.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk |

Hm... to say the truth I don't like this kind of cases. It gives me the idea that a small case hides a "small" power system. If you know what I mean. _________________

I suppose so, but as they say, good things come in small packages
We'll see how it goes... thank you. _________________ www.loriano.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk |

That doesn't means that I don't like small cases anyway. I hope that you will design a very nice one. Good luck. _________________

Boing ball shape ! With a special touch ... the boing ball sure has to have the "planet killer" weapon of the death star of StarWars. etc... Any takers? Idea Copyrighted by me!
Another: Cylinder shape. The cylinder could be made of 200mm air conditioning pipe. Inside the sylinder would be SAM & peripherals + a large fan blowing upwards. On top of the cylinder would be orange, red and yellow stripes of plastic to mimic flames. (extreme guys would have also smoke generator built in) LEDs would bring the light to flames. Alternatively on top could be a "boing ball beach ball" that floats on the air current coming out of the cylinder. Ofcorse it would be LED lighted inside the cylinder. For normal running the fan can bi switched off by SW, surely SAM would need that kind of cooling only to show off. (Assembly 2009 competition) etc... Any takers? Idea Copyrighted by me!
What I'm going to build for my self: (someday) Cube shape (20cm wide, about 25 cm high and about 25 cm deep). Solid RED color. Small boing ball in front, in the middle, backlighted with RED+GREEN+YELLOW LED (power on->RED, HDD -> YELLOW, Hibernate -> GREEN). Also I would like to fir BattleStar calactica movie's red Cylon eye, perhaps illuminating the desk below the frontplate of the case. DVDRW would open backwards etc.. 99% recycled material (old PC cases etc.) and Idea Copyrighted by me!
a few more: - Dancing Banana shape. (because of the memories of the past few "banana" years) - Amiga check mark shape. - A -shape.
My ideas are free for non-commercial use. For commercial use, send personal e-mail & lets talk. Last edited by KimmoK on 09-Nov-2008 at 04:52 PM. Last edited by KimmoK on 09-Nov-2008 at 04:37 PM. Last edited by KimmoK on 09-Nov-2008 at 04:36 PM.

| I would like the Walker design to make a return, yes joke it looked like a hoover but I still love its original design. The AmigaMCC also looked pritty nice, but I would love to see this case a reality

Actually has any one actually modded a A1200 case to be a full PC system? Last edited by amigang on 09-Nov-2008 at 05:00 PM.

I voted for a cube type case but to be perfectly honest I don't mind what type of case you produce as long as it is of the same high quality as your minimig cases.

| Well, i think the Psile Case offered by ACube is really nice. I just love "plain" or "simple" looking cases. Just one button and/or slot for DVD. Piano Style finish is also great (shiny color).
I don´t like cases where "normal" DVD/CD Drives are used like the RedOne from RELEC. Even though the rest is quiet cool..
But there are two more things, which I would like to see on a Psile style case:
Any sort of Amiga logo or font (like on your minimig case) and some sort of front blend for front I/O Ports (USB/Card Reader/Audio) Personally I would vote for a red coulered, because it fits next to my red Project Record Player....
