| I've been meaning to ask, and here's as good a place as any, does the Sam come with the "OS4.1 for Sam" beta?
It's listed seperately on AmigaKit, but I remember reading that all Sam owners would receive a copy of the beta. Can anyone clear this up for me? _________________

Yes and no ;)
You need to buy a AmigaOS4.1 (for SAM not for AmigaONE) and mobo itself. And yes, AmigaOS4.1 which you can buy now is a beta which will be change into final version when it will be available (I think it will be for free? Am I right?).
This AmigaOS4.1 which people are telling was sold separately and some dealers were shipping a OS without mobos, just to make this guys "happier" during a waiting for Sam440 mobos :D. Good dealers ;)
I hope this will help.

You have to buy the specific AmigaOS 4.1 for SAM. This is a beta release, and you will get also the final version on cd when it's done. Last edited by Phantom on 01-Dec-2008 at 05:31 PM.
