Bittorrent client needed to download

P.S I DONT OWN AN AMIGAONE, SO I DONT KNOW IF IT WORKS! im releasing it so people can find a way to getting it to work.

The kernel is based on the debian 2.6.15-8 kernel with squashfs patches and geri amigaone patch.

Brief instruction on th CD, the main linux source and images are on the cd in the install/folder.

An Amigaone owner who knows howto hack linux will find this CD useful, and will probably get it to work?

Anyone can email on advice relating to the ubuntu part, NOT the amigaone part.

Are you going to make a version for the latest ubuntu version 6.10 Edgy? Is this a live cd, so that wecould try it without ruin the OS4 partition?

Does it have the same kernel as the one you posted previously, or is it an updated one? I'd gladly test it with the Ubuntu CD PPC I already have, the 700 megs torrent is a bit too big for my dialup connection

Your original ubuntu cd will not work, you need this ubuntu cd due to the kernel changes made within my CD release.

It is the same kernel, but it has the source code and a normal boot image without the initrd.

I do fear that the amigaone has the same problem as the pegasos 1 - this is probably why it doesnt boot?

I have Debian installed. So whats the difference between debian and ubuntu in short? Im not good in different linux packages. Just curious.

And if anyone know, is there firefox2.0 for debian or ubuntu without having to compile my own as im noob ?!

You can install iceweasel (aka Firefox) and icedove (aka Thunderbird) from debian unstable branch. Firefox will not be on the debian due to logo issues.
