Just thinking the same thing myself.
Wasn't there supposed to be a live stream or something ?

I too am waiting for a report

Hope that it will reveal something new.
Just one nice screenshot would make my day. Just show a new prefs program or maybe the USB stack. I don't care if theres any new features. I can't help it! I'm a AOS 4 screenshot junkie

The internet connection at the show didn't work.

There wasn't really any news, as far as i could see/hear. Steffen, both Frieden bros and later Ben Hermans showed OS4 on AOne.

There were quite a few Pegasos computers there aswell.

The show was small (or at least a lot smaller than i expected).

I'll post my thoughts on the show later.

From what I understand it was supposed to be live over the internet with some webcams etc ....... I just want to know if they got the display sorted for AOS4.

They even had Payback running on AOS4 on AmigaOne, although a bit slow (all interpreted) and starting up the game took ages (due to illegal use of the dos.library, which should be fixed by the author, AOS4 continued but logged all warnings and needed some time to cope). But, keeping in mind it is still _heavily_ under construction, I'd say it is looking very promising. It still needs a lot of work. But it is starting to like I'll soon be buying an AmigaOne (lite) with AOS4.
I also played with Pegasos for the first time in my life and I must say I liked it a lot. There's also more and more software getting released for it.
And since I won a MorphOS Super Bundle in the lotery I'm afraid I'm gonna have to buy a Pegasos as well

Regards,

Onno

hi all, Ryu calling from a hostel in rotterdam, i had a good day today, rather dissapointed not many people approached me to say hi, I was quite visible . I would like to thank ohno a lot, he was a great help during the show and afterwards. I have to confess to getting lost on the way from the hostel back into the centre for an evening meal, but found my way back quite easily, I blame Dave myself

@MikeB, was you the tall bloke with the big blue coat on? You should of said hi

I look forward to going again tomorrow even if i am being called mad by certain people

Stay tuned for a report from me as soon as I get home.

Ryu out

Probably.

There weren't that many people, so I thought I said hi to just about everyone there, where did you hide yourself?

It was sad to see so few people at the show. But the organizeronly advertised on the internet and there is also a big media show with AmigaOS4 demonstrations going on in Bremen as well.

It looks like DaveyD hasn't looked through his email yet or something else went wrong with regard to the pictures I sent him. Well, I will be heading home soon... So stay tuned.

Hi Mike. Looking forward to seeing those pictures. BTW, can you elaborate further on the show in Bremen?

LOL. Well good thing the both of you won something in the lotery today, ain't it? I guess you both were the only visitors that've been there both days most of the time.

BTW. I was just planning on visiting the show very briefly on sunday as well, just to say goodbye to you guys. Remember I told you guys I didn't even bother to put money in the parking meter and as I was sticking around longer and longer I was getting afraid I would end up getting a parking ticket?
Wel I indeed got one. 45 Euro's!
Oh well... at least I won a keychain in the lotery today. I think every visitor that was still there at 16:00 must have won something in that lotery

Onno

The magazine is a good read. I especially like the assembly course and the amiga socks review

Looking forward to the next issues (they will be bigger, 52 pages if I'm correct).

Ack! Is that Comic Sans MS I spot on the lower portion! What a way to ruin a perfectly good cover. Come on there's lots of good free typefaces on the web.
