  | I just thought it would be cool to create a map of AW users using frappr.com.
I know it won't work with Amiga browsers, but still... please register if you can or wish to...

You do realise that this makes it trivial for the government to track down and confiscate all our Amiga's if they ever become banned, right?

What is this strange "road" thing about which you speak?
We don't have electricity or telephones either, doncha know?!

Actually, regarding the roads - we probably don't have any roads any bigger than single-lane "A" roads (generally with B road surfaces...) hence why they don't usually show up on maps!
Check out the Google Map for more (?) detail!_________________

Ha! If there's any justice (Lemar) Wintel boxes will be banned long before Amigas are! _________________ SEX SUX

But of course there isn't any justice, so µ$ will pay off some law person to hunt down and crush the Amiga because it does not enforce hardware DRM, and is therefore something that is only used by Criminal Pirate Masterminds!!11!One _________________

  Hey that a cool site... It'd be nice if a decent proportion of users add themselves on so you get an idea of Amiga user distribution worldwide. _________________ A600 OS3.1 ACA620 | '030 A1200 OS3.5 | µA1-C 750GX OS4.1 | SAM460 OS4.1 | '040 A3000 OS2.1 | Christian Aid | |

I would register, but am too paranoid about letting the world know where I live, so they could track me down and paint a big Windoze logo on my house or something

Uh, like they couldn't just come here and say "Aha - there's that TrebleSix fella with the big bounty on his head... well look at that; he lives in Pembrokeshire in Wales... let's go get him lads!"
And that'd be it. Logo'd to death - nasty!

(Basically, all I'm saying is that there's very little difference between putting a "pin" in the map, and having your location shown on here... it's not that accurate!) _________________

  agreed
The UK is starting to look crowded so I made the map zoom-in a bit by default

  5. Oops, I messed up my shoutout. How do I fix it? Contact your Frappr admin. He can delete your shoutouts too!
I spelt www.amiga6000.net wrong. Any change you can remove my 3 entries and put it down to one? Cheers! _________________ Amiga A1200, 3.1 ROMs, Blizzard 1230 MKIV 64MB & FPU, 4GB DoM SSD, Workbench 3.1 |
