Amigaworld.net earns its reputation again

As I PM-ed DaveP, I understand the need for moderators to moderate, but what irks me is how he locked the thread after responding to my post point-by-point. That gave me no chance to respond to him. And I did have points to make. This is unfair; I think if a moderator wants to lock a thread, he/she should not be a partisan participant in it, getting in the last word before the lock. As the person responded to, it makes me look foolish and it frustrates me because I was in fact prepared to answer him. The thread itself was contentious but not overly emotional. I'm afraid this kind of moderation just confirms the impression that amigaworld.net wants to avoid criticism of Amiga, Inc. above all else. I suppose I should always keep this in mind when participating here; it's very irritating when I forget.

Yep, keep up those reality filters, Dave!

I haven't read that thread. But my advise to you here is to get a life.

It's sad to see you become more and more fanatical lately. Of the "blue camp" you were always one of the better versed ones with regard to your postings.
