Recently dug this old amplifier out of the attic when visiting my mum. I thought would be better to use it than let it rot away. Needs a bit of a clean up since the dust isn't easy to wipe off the matt black finish, it doesn't look as bad as the flash photographed image implies.

It's a Sony TA-70 and must be about 40 years old, certainly older than me. I've now got it hooked up to my X1000 and acting as a monitor stand, covers that scratch nicely. It produces a nice rich sound even with the cheap and cheerful Goodmans speakers a friend gave me.



Does anyone else have any classic Audio equipment hooked up to their computer?
