The drawer looks mighty fine!
I'm not sure I'm that eager to go for the old-style wooden look, though, more of a shiny metal object person myself. But it looks grand! Create an entire theme, consistent with that one, and I'll have me one icon set for every weekday.
As for the planet...well, it doesn't really say much, does it? It's nice looking enough, and would serve splendidly as the foundation of an "actual" icon, but I never really saw the connection with just a "naked" globe and some app....of course, could launch a world map, or show the world weather, or something...but I think you should slap something on top of it to make it represent something.
IM very HO, of course. The graphics are nice enough though.
I can't believe you're actually getting paid for doing that....nor can your employer, I'm certain. (Which means they really ought to be freeware, once you've got an entire set of them, no? ) _________________ A1G4XE, OS4-pre |

Good stuff. Quite a step aside from the "glassy blue" thing that seems so popular. It's nice to see some different ideas for a change.

| Hi Bobsonsirjonny,
I like the wood grain. I notice the planet has clouds, kind of, nice touch. And it has a pastels, or crayon look. Very friendly.
That's another thing I like about Amiga, the rediculous sized icons you could have, it seems that in windross, you're force into a conformity, max size (I could be wrong of course about win, still don't know enough about it).

| I think im gonna alter the purlple thing around the globe - its not defined enough, and as a result maes it look like the globe has corners.. or straight edges. |

That was my first thought too, but then I thought about a "Workbench" and if there was a full theme that was geared to the look of wood, it might turn out really nice. |

Lol - nah, Iffy.
Iffy is a British phrase - means it looks a but dubious.
And here is a stack.. It looks horrible though. Its the shrinkage. |

Well, the handles shadow is okay, but the near verticle colour change to the left of the handle needs aligning to the drawers below, but I'd use it.
The second icon should have one of the drawers (hehe, at random, well, that can't be done (but, if you had one of each of the 3 drawers open, then you could use it in different sub-dirs)) open and some papers are sticking out of it.

How about this? Went for an isometric look as used by Glowicons.

One of the criticism I have about powericons ( not the technology ) is what the icons that are designed for 24bit seem to look like, which are plasticky, tacky and a bit clunky ( IMHO ).
Just a thought to input to your work!
The mahogany drawer that you have there would need to be included with an entire wood theme else it would look out of place.

| Hi Bobsonsirjonny,
Looks really good.
Is there any reason that you couldn't include both in your set?
I ask because, the 1 drawer one, looks like a box that you might carry apples in, even though there is a handle there.
Will you release a set that is a little bigger, too? (About 50 - 60%)
