Quite some time has passed since I decided to register at Amigaworld.net, but I didn't start posting before yesterday. :)

My handle is PG (short for Punisher/Gods) and I've been an Amiga user for about 19 years now. I've been active on the Demoscene as a swapper/mailtrader, editor and packer. I've also done some coding in AMOS and drawing in Deluxe Paint and Brilliance. These days I use the Amiga for demos, drawing and coding. Sometimes I play games like Future Wars, Monkey Island and Chaos Engine.

I'm also active on Classicamiga.com where I work on the sites demo section. I'm also a Moderator in the forum.

Sadly I don't own OS 4 compatible hardware, but I'm saving up cash to get the SAM - can't wait to start working on the new OS. :)

Amigaworld.net seems like a great place to discuss Amiga related topics, especially those concerning OS 4. Keep up the good work!

Have a nice day!

@PG

Hey there,

Demoscene - those were the days! I enjoyed watching them rather than being able to code them - perhaps we might see some demos from you once you have your SAM?

Regards,
Rude!

Hi there!

Similar situation here, I'll just wait for a couple of months for the Macmini version and unless it happens, I will eventually buy SAM (in the meantime spending as much on Amiga-related stuff as possible).

By saying working on OS4 did you mean programming? I myself cannot wait. I will definitely do some heavy Python programming as soon as I get OS4 home.

@All

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. :)

@Restore2003

Hei, hei! ;)

I wasn't active on the Demoscene that early, but I know about the group. Are you still making modules on the Amiga?

@Rudei

I've got a few ideas that I'd like to put into life, so time will show.

@Opi

Hi! Long time, no see! I also believed we used to swap back in the 90's. :) Are you still active on the Scene? Do you miss swapping? I know I do.

@DiscDoctor

Yes, I'm looking forward to do some programming on OS 4.1. :) I'm also interested in learning about porting software as well. There's a lot of open-source stuff available, and it would be great to make more of these available for the Amiga.

@PG

Also a welcome from me. It's funny you mention the demoscene as I will be going to this tonight:
http://beachparty.disasterarea.net/2009/

Okay that doesn't say much but it's a demo party near my home. I'll have to drag out my best module. Gee I hope they accept late entries.

Last time they had beer (some people seem to like it), a projector hooked up to Amiga A1200's and a C64. A white sheet was our demo viewer. This was all hooked up to a generator just outside the beach. Cool!

All they need now is a Plus/4 with 121 colour pictures flashing past. Was this the demo dream machine no one discovered? With all those colours it could have rocked the C64 off the no. 1 demo spot.

Great stuff, cannot wait!

You know, I've watched a lot of Amiga demos over the years and your handle rings a bell - can you tell what stuff you worked on?

Regards,
Rude!

@Rudei

As mentioned earlier, I was mostly involved in swapping/trading, but I've done other things on the side. This includes being an editor in diskmags like Showtime (Darkage) and D.I.S.C (Gods), compiling the intropack Dreams (Apathy), and releasing a few intros and demos. The most recent intro I made was released at Breakpoint 2007 and it is called Bubble 3. It was released for a group called Void. Thanks for your interest.

Have you been active on the Scene yourself?
