There seems to be a problem in the SCSI driver/module of MOS 3.10, at least when used with X5000... When I inserted a Dawicontrol DC-2976 UW SCSI-board (with 53C875 chip which should be supported) in my machine and tried to boot from the 3.10 installation CD, the boot process was extremely slow (took about 15 min), and the system (and mouse) worked sluggishly. If I had also a SCSI disk connected to the controller the behaviour was the same, and the disk was not seen at all by the system nor by the hard disk tool.
Both the SCSI controller and the disk work OK with Linux distros in the same machine, so they are not defective.
BTW, also the SCSI module of AmigaOS 4.1 FE Prerelease for X5000 is broken! So, ironically, at least here the 'blue' and 'red' team have a touching consensus ;).
