It's certainly cheap but it looks a bit naff. It would be nice if there was some indication that it would look decent if the customer took the time to hand finish it.

The case for sale is let down by the low cost printer and material used to make it but it would easily cost 4x that if it were made with higher end equipment or hand finished and painted.

Using "voltage" instead of "potential", which leads to inventing new words like "amperage" instead of "current" (I, measured in A) or possible "charge" (amperehours, Ah or Coulomb, C). Sometimes I don't even know what people mean.

For sure if you sent the 3d model to a commercial printer, it would come out much much better. I still have the files. Just export it as a .stl and send it to a printer. You'll want to make sure the Pi fits though.. I modeled it off of a Pi model someone submitted so I don't know if the scale is perfect.

Wait.. after looking at the files, I already made an stl.. this is just the front face though.. this is the most complicated piece so just mold this onto someone else's Pi case...

(to my understanding we will see AROS/AEROS preinstalled ARM device soon... but perhaps not yet with odroid HW...)

me think raspberry still better than odroid odroid cost lot more for £60 you can get beaglebone i have the beaglebone and raspberry his better to use and AROS/AEROS his on raspberry pi

Hi,
Odroid is much faster.
Quadcore 1.7GHZ vs. 700MHZ single core.
1 Odroid MHZ is 3+ times faster than 1 Pi MHZ.

A pi with 700MHZ equals a Pentium 200
A Odroid U3 with 1.7GHZ single core equals a ATOM.
So you get a quadcore ATOM for 60$.

Oh and 2GB RAM are 2GB RAM ; )

I even compile on the odroid.. you would not like to do that on a Pi ; )

Whatever:
In short someone will announce a new bundle called AmiQube based on imx6 platform.
I say someone because I just provide AEROS.

being faster his not alway best pc are faster than amiga but you still buy hardwhane for amiga that 30 year old and pc two year old no hardwhane for it

hmm.. usb is very flexible. External Audio/videograbber, miners, soundcards, cameras and so on can be attached with usb.
The difference is that the device cost 60$ and a Amiga had cost 8times more or even more depending on model.
If your device gets old you can just buy every 3 years a new one replacing the old for a fraction of costs.
30years bleading edge for the same Price as buying 1 Computer to use for 30years.

Ofcourse this doesn't offer the same emotions ; )

Does anyone have the needed stl files for an A1200 case? (the upper lid, the lower lid, the trapdoor and the unused lid behind the floppy). We are planning on modifying the A1200 case.
