IBrowse on AmigaOS4 tops browser stats

Looking at the December stats for the sites ( for web browser clients used )
and IBrowse/2.3 running on AmigaOS4 ( AmigaOS V51 ) is the top browser causing
double the hits of its nearest rival - Mozilla.

Heres the breakdown December 2004:

* #1 12.74% IBrowse/2.3 ( AmigaOS V51 )
* #2 6.44% Mozilla/5.0 ( Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5 )
* #7 3.20% Amiga-AWeb/3.5.03 beta
* #8 3.18% IBrowse/2.3 ( AmigaOS 3.9 )
* #11 1.87% IBrowse/2.3 ( AmigaOS 4.0 ) ( MorphOS? )
* #14 1.40% Amiga-AWeb/3.5.04 beta

Either way its great news that people are using their Amigas more and more. Looking
at the statistics in January 2004:

* #1 14.66% Mozilla/4.0 ( compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1 )
* #3 6.07% IBrowse/2.3 (AmigaOS 3.9)
* #10 1.60% IBrowse/2.3 (AmigaOS 4.0) ( MorphOS )

I take this as a sign than AmigaOS4 and AmigaONE ARE reviving the Amiga scene, and
in a big way.

Merry Christmas!

Dave.

@DaveP

Im pretty sure that AmigaOS v50 ( MorphOS reports that version ) comes up as
AmigaOS4 in IBrowse strings, I read about it in this screenshot here, top right
look at the IRC session that was captured:

http://www.morphzone.org/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=258

AmigaOS4 that most people run at the moment is v51, and therefore is reported
by IBrowse as AmigaOS V51.

( see Workbench->About )

@DaveP

And here I am, running Mozilla on my mom's peycey, totally ruining the statistics...

Any numbers on the unique hits by Ibrowse/OS4? I mean, you do get a few dozen hits in a month after all, eh?

@DaveP

IntuitionBase is seeing an opposite trend, we started out receiving the majority of hits from Amiga's but now its mainly mozilla and MSIE...

Gave up trying to work out how to insert an image

[Edit: Like that]

Meh I was trying [img=http://blah]image tag[/img]... Figured that would be the natural way to do it like [url] tags are handled...

@DaveP

I'll be joining those ranks soon. I just got my AmigaOneXE last week from Compuquick and will be sticking with IBrowse.
