Well to be fair, it was on the C64 as well - not sure if it was released first on the C64 though as it was yanked from the shops quite quickly here following objections from Nintendo over the similarity to its own Mario games.

I certainly remember seeing the C64 version before any Amiga ones, but having said that, I do have this game via Steam having followed the kickstarter project on it a while back.
