@PEB

Sorry,can?t type much, I am typing on a pocket pc in the hotel at Gothenberg with a tiny keyboard
There will be some video footage from me soon, I travel back tomorrow, I will start importing all the video on Tuesday ready for a busy editing session over the weekend .
Should be good this year as we all co-operated this year and had better control over who filmed what.
I already have all the tapes so no delay waiting to receive them t is time. We had 4 cameras in total and so far from what I have reviewed, its looking very good
Watch out for an announcement from me in a few days time

Mmkay.. a little minireport:

AmiDog showed off FPSE (with 3d hardware rendering i think) and linksupport.
(Using psxjoypad adapters). He showed Colin McRae Rally, Ridge Racer Rev and Demolition Derby.

David Burström showed IBrowse 2.4 with support for russian language and a Flashplugin, IB 2.4 also had a ppcnative
javascriptlibrary. I asked if they had a releasedate for IB 3 but they didn't.
(I think they said that IB2.4 should be released before xmas this year though)

TBL showed a demoengine for OS4 (native), quite cool although the demo wasn't that impressive but i guess it was made in a hurry for the fair.

I missed the Frieden brothers presentation because we (me and bassman) had to put money in the parkingmeter.

There was a quite funny contest between red and blue trolls. The red troll could win a Pegasos and the blue troll could win a uA1. It was a blue troll who won the competition (Iggy Drougge) IIRC.

Dopus Magellan PPC wasn't showed because one of the developers had some personal problems (probably not the right words?) :-/

EDIT: I've uploaded a few images here (There are thumbnails of all the images, but only 15 pictures or so in normal size is uploaded)

I'll upload more pictures tomorrow if/when im on a broadband connection

@T_Bone

Yeah, sort of.

If you download the mp3 file and listen at about 35 minutes in, you will hear that OS4 is expected to be out by Christmas, something muttled about expecting new AmigaOnes and that there are other (yet unannounced) projects to bring new PPC motherboards to the market. Also that some company would be making this public in a few weeks.

@T_Bone

Strangely enough there is something referring to this topic in the "news" section
at center of page regarding "Amiwest".(towards bottom of page 1)
The info, though, is from AmiGBH.

Best Wishes,

Excellent news! I'm so happy to hear that! Amiga is growing much stronger now!

If i was Yoda, i would say "A powerful PPC-platform the Amiga has become! The power i sense in it! "

I'm not sure if i'd like to see it... it largely depends on whose pubic hairs will be

Actually, I was supposed to show Candy Factory 2 but didn't get around to it. It was installed on one of the machines, but for some reason, I forgot to show this and the new themes that I also wanted to show.

I'm sorry

I've made pictures I took at the show available

here and here.

*addon:
The pictures are the same at both places, I placed them in 2 locations, due to the limited bandwidth at Geocities.
