A female name cause Amiga was allways female and even most custom chips had female names. Vanessa cause it's an exotic name. It just sounds cool. If later you release a new model call itl Vanessa2 etc.
Then there would also ve Vanessa1Pro, for the more expandable higher spec version of the card

My first reaction ... joke / hoax alert.

If you are really serious, then I wish you luck. Unless you specify otherwise, I am going to assume this board is the "DHT-Walnut", which has a PowerPC 405GP. If Hyperion can make OS4 run on a PowerPC 405GP, then this might be a viable low end machine.

I think you should call it Walnut or TinyTim.
