@ikir

How does one go about doing what you suggest?? The battery has been physically removed
& re-installed if this is what you mean.

@stychokiller
Turn off. Remove the battery, place it upside down for 20 seconds. Mount it correctly again. Turn on, enter uboot.

Let me know.

@ikir

Isn't there a diode in series with the battery? If yes, placing it upside down (shorting the terminals) will do nothing.

@ thread

Hi follow the link and you´ll see an other project. It has nothing to do with
watercooling but the original Eyetech cooler is replaced with a pur copper one.
It fits perfectly and looks great too.

pur copper cooler replacment by zErec from origin roots

Have fun...

@LaBodilsen

No Problem for me. IMHO this cooler is a good one for the A1. The installation is
quit easy. The full copper cooler is about (30 EURO). I think that´s okay for that much material.

@zErec

Absolutely agree with you there, For anyone who wants a silent amiga, the VF700 or even the new VF900 is about the best they come. They are easily available, and very easy to fit. so yes. proberly the best cooler for the A1 at this moment.

@LaBodilsen & thread

The zalman VF700Cu has these messurments
126,4 mm x 91 mm and weighs 270 g

The new VF900 seems to be a slight better
96mm x96mm. It weighs 187g. It has two integrated
heatpipes.

Well, i'm sorry to dissapoint you both here. but there was no ready made water cooling kit made for the Amiga with boing balls on it. so i had to use parts from the PC world, if i wanted to try this out.

Maybe i'm a little disappointed :) When I used to see such things in PSc it often make me laugh, so, now when I can see it in Amiga, it yet makes me a little disappointed.
