@CygnusEd

Abiword for OS4? It is surely the best news I heard after OS4 release.

Your work is wonderful!

Sorry, no. The aqua theme will be the default theme. But there are several
themes available (including a OS 3.x theme called ebench) on

freshmeat.net

@CygnusEd

GREAT WORK!
However...
How about speed?
I noticed not so good speed(especially gfx speed, that however was better than previous) on last Cygnix...

I use A1SE Radeon9250

GOOD WORK!

Tuxedo.

*bump*

I am sorry to say that the last announcement of 25-Mar-2007 has already worn off a bit. Amigans are so hard to please. All those fantastic developments in the last 10 years and we are still not happy! ;)

So feel free to post some new announcements in this thread... We need some time-filler until the Samantha announcement on the 1st of April ("We have a license!!! NOT! LOL!!!")

@hatschi

Indeed.

Acube promised announcements (in plural) before the end of March, and to be honest, that first announcement from the 25th was kind of lame when you think about it. In practice it didn't mean much more than that we will have one more potential reseller of OS4 for Eyetech's dead-since-long A1 and the old dead-since-even-longer Phase5 PowerUP boards.

Not very exciting at all by itself; a follow-up announcement is required!

@hatschi

I've released three new OS4 native picture datatypes, all on Aminet (once they get authorised - and the recent webpage doesn't correspond to the RECENT file, so something's borked there)

They are:

util/dtype/vtx_dt.lha - Videotex/teletext
util/dtype/scr_dt.lha - Spectrum SCRs
util/dtype/pnm_dt.lha - PPM binary (P6)

edit ...and a new version of Facts.

Chris
