But, you're making incorrect assumptions:
1. That AInc care what you have to say.
2. That AInc cares what ANY users have to say.
3. That AInc actaully reads ANY Amiga forum.
4. That AI is the only one doing wrong here.
5. That anyone agrees in your term of 'opportunities.'
6. That there is anyone able to act on these 'opportunities.'

A forum post does little else other than to vent, why not write to bill@amiga.com and to Hyperion, instead? Maybe YOU have all the solutions to all of the various problems, and they are waiting with baited breath, for you to show them 'the way'?

PS - yep, most of us have already reached that point, but there is little to be done, the situation is so screwed it's unlikely there will be any resolution that is of use to most of us, or not in a timeframe that matters.

You're probably right, but i can't stop thinking that without this trial, the amiga platform can back again on the scenes. So forgive me if i can't express my rants in other ways.

It's hard to say. Not a single company has managed to produce an OS4 capable system that isn't woefully overpriced and underspecced (one of the two is OK, but not both)...except Efika, which isn't for sale any longer. So, it's hard to say. The best potential that was there would have seemed to have been Moana, had it been completed. But then, even before the court cases, no licenses were being granted, either.

Wish I knew. I don't know that anything allowing AOS to move forward will ever happen as a result of the court cases..but, we'll see. And maybe some of us will still be here if/when it's resolved.

The Efika is still listed as "in stock" at directron.com. Besides that, "When MorphOS 2.0 is released we will release a new batch of the original 5200B based EFIKA".

But the Efika is (and always was) a reference platform. The *real* products will look in the line of these! *This* is where MorphOS/AmigaOS/AROS has a chance to shine!

Who owns Amiga Inc.? Bill?

Now if he owns it there is NOTHING we can do! So let's forget about it, it's useless asking to stop trials, create a new super machine, carry on with OS4 development, stop making stupid announcements, I, you, we DON'T own Amiga.

It's like someone asking you to do something you don't want to do with any of your possessions. If Amiga Inc. don't want to do what the community asks that is their decision and, thinking about it, it's only fair, it's their property.

Until someone comes up with the $ to buy it (snatch it away, rescue it) from them and start changing things for the better then, my dear Amigans, there is NOTHING you, we, I can do.

They have ignored us more or less for eight years, we must be pretty hardcore and nuts or stupid to not get it!

PPC isn't a way forward either. And certianly not a 400mhz cellphone speed PPC "scaled" to the size of a desktop or a 42" lcd t.v.
