HammerD, I suppose you bought three copies of OS4 for your three computers ... not. Or does the license allow you to run a copy on more than one computer? We all want to support Hyperion, right? Last edited by thinkchip on 02-Jan-2010 at 03:13 PM.

HammerD is a betatester, so I'm sure he referring to the machines he used when testing os4.0 classic.
To get back on topic, however Its something i've not tried for a while with my A1200T. I'll give it a go here to see if i can boot of CF.

| Not wanting to start a new thread so I'll continue with this old one.
Started again to look into installing OS 4.0 on the CSPPC/CVPPC A4000 with the same damn annoying errors that I've always had.
I found a website that reviewed an installation of 4.1 and apparently the output SHOULD be:
"Configuring your new system Installation. This will only take a few moments. Copying language preferences... Copying default preferences... Enabling screen blanker... Removing install monitor drivers... Creating default monitor driver... Copying post-install script..."
My output remains, as it always has, with the error message listed earlier in this thread.
Well a few months have passed so maybe someone else has come across this issue and found a workaround...heck, I'll even do the final steps manually if I have to....but I'm not 100% sure what they are
I've tried each and every one of the suggestions (thank you all) in this thread but to no avail.
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated as I'm wondering why I plonked down some hard earned cash on a Cyberstorm when the OS itself won't even install. My PPC lies idle.
Google also came up with nothing..the only page that mentions my problem is this thread
Thanks Last edited by dangermouse on 20-May-2010 at 11:59 AM.
