Neither do I. I like the idea of simply trading money once for a product. I bet Hyperion would sell a lot more copies of Amiga OS 4 if someone would come out with a sub 200 dollar board. Not knocking the A1X1K, it will make a nice trophy machine for those who can afford it. _________________

As you said, the best way for people to finance AmigaOS 4.x development is by buying AmigaOS 4.x or one of the Hyperion games. _________________

Same experience with my office computer and Debian. Some even asked me to install them that nice new windows version in their computer 
I also remember one time when OpenOffice was installed in some computers under windows to see how it worked. Everybody was happy with their new msoffice, until I opened my mouth and told it was OO.org.
