| Something is definitely going on, and it's related to Mc Donald's. OMG, can you imagine looking down in the shower and not being able to see your private parts? How on earth can someone let themselves go like that? Society in the US is screwed up, it's perfectly acceptable to harass and humiliate a person for smoking a cigarette but you are a hate monger if you chastise someone for gluttonous over consumption.

How do you even know it is overeating? I knew a guy who was born with a disease/hormonal problem that made him severely obese no matter how little he ate or how much he exercised. In his case it was a genetic disease inherited from his dad that was even more obese than his son.
I am not overweight in any way, but i find it disgusting when people have insult people just because they are a bit larger than the "normal" standard. I myself eat even unhealthy, drink alot of soda, dont exercise but are yet normal size because i was blessed with high metabolism.
I guess you get kicks out of attacking people with your insults??
And nope.. I dont think people should be attacked for smoking a cigarette either. I think it should be up to each individual to do what they want with their own body. |

Hmm.. just wondering, what interest do you have in a retro computing platform (such as Amiga) that peaked well before you were born? Last edited by jingof on 10-Jul-2010 at 04:06 AM.

I don't understand your inane question. I'm old enough to remember the release of the a1k and the juggler demo being played on projection screens in software stores around Dallas Texas in the 1980's. Last edited by koft on 10-Jul-2010 at 04:05 AM.

I didnt say it was the case with all. And you would know that such disorders existed if you actually researched the subject before spreading bull about something you know nothing about. And why are you even so childish that you attack people even if it was due to their lifestyle? Why not let people live the life they want if they choose to do so?
Also if you actually had some brains you would know that even a highly obese person would be way better off than someone who is starving in africa. Scientific studies have actually even found that it is more healthy to be a bit overweight than being even a bit underweight. |

Well, if I must spell it out for you...
Your name calling of "lardos" and "fatties", and "can't see your privates" etc. seems just a bit childish... something I'd expect to hear on a 4th grade playground. Not AmigaWorld.net, aimed at a generation or two beyond this sort of insult and name calling.
Grow up!

I know the disorders exist, I'm aware of it, it's rare dude. In any case, disorder or not, caloric intake dictates weight. This is why you don't find fat people in Somalia. Eat more that you can metabolize, you get fat, eat less and you drop weight.
It's not childish to state disdain for this gluttonous behavior, after all, in society we all have to cover the costs when one of these lard butts neglects them selves for so long and ends up in the hospital. It raises the cost of health care. Society makes a pile of excuses for this condition, 98% of which is completely avoidable by eating a salad and taking a 10 minute walk every day instead of watching American Idol and wolfing down a Big Mac with a large coke. _________________

No... actually, I have children (5, 12 and 16). And involved enough to know what goes on in a given day for my children at _their_ school. _________________ Vic-20, C-64, C-128 Amiga 1000, 3000 AmigaOne X1000 |

I just ate a McBurger.. now reading this I feel guilty! Ironically, though, the heat wave this past few days has caused me to lose some weight and I can fit slightly smaller sized clothes that wouldn't fit a month ago.. \0/_________________ Men who have girlies in their avatars are Girliemen! |

| So Amiga Inc not dead, dam shame really its odd how its returned while news of the AmigaOne X1000 has gone around the net, I wounder has someone thought that people are still interested in Amiga and maybe they can use the name on crap products. I really hope that doesn't happen, as I could see what amiga Inc does could hurt the AmigaOS and AmigaOne name and projects at reviving the Amiga

| It seems strange not to put up at least a maintenance page explaining when the site will be back, given how quickly that could be knocked up...

Looks like I stirred things up a bit last night... Posting while drinking was probably not a great idea!
Apologies to anyone who was offended.
