@JimS

We are fast approaching "pigeon park", iirc.

@TrevorDick

Glad it was not a Amiga A1000 you were using and only an iPod. For some reason now I can't get out of my head Trevor taking a bubble bath with a A1080 Monitor dangling dangerously next to the tub and a A1000 keyboard in his lap with bubble bath suds on his head.

Your welcome everyone because now you have that image in your heads all day.

hehehe

Yeah there are 3D retrogamers as well, the medium is getting quite old. But as I said I don't consider myself a retrogamer. I just search quality and fun factor, and most of time 2D games deliver the goods in spades.
I keep on playing Turrican 2, Pang, Ghouls'n'Ghost (the latter on the Sega Saturn), Rainbow Island, heck even though I finished them several times during the years i still give the two Monkey Island a go from time to time.
I then stop and play a modern 3D title but never get the same kick out of it (with a very few exceptions).

Well, both Tom Lehrer and Firesign are a bit snarky for my tastes, but I can understand the wish to feed AI in the park.

@JimS

I think the sketch is more about getting older, and feeding pigeons from the park bench, which is somewhat symbolic of that.
Also symbolic of the wait for warring factions in amigaland to grow up.

The reason I waited to answer your questions Is that the answers are covered in the AmigaFuture update article. I think it's important to support of of the few remaining Amiga magazines (which is published in both German and English).

@eder

The new white case looks smart.

@TrevorD

Am I right in thinking the cases will be on sale separately from the X1000? If so, is there any chance of an un-badged case being released before the X1000 for those looking for a nice case for their Sam?

I believe that AmigaKit's plan is to offer the "Boing Ball" design case for all Amiga flavours.

Hi Tervor!

Count me in for a white X-1000. Having said that though, is there any chance of getting some red on the Boing Ball? I think that would really make the case 'pop'.

Looks nice the way it is, but I think it would be even more eye catching with some color...

Just my $0.02.

@L8Knight

Thanks for the comment. We don't intend to add colour to the "Boing Ball" but I think it would be an easy mod for the customer to make (if they wish). I will check with AmigaKit.

@Daniel

A mouse inside a house? :) I've recently wound up a SAM460ex inside a microATX box.
Heaps of room. I'm going to have to redesign my room for an A1-X1000 box.
