No, you need to get an egg-stended warranty for that

interesting video, but where are some real application?

i'd like to see Blender rendering on AmigaOne X1000, or some OpenGL games or another software that we can see real differnce about AMCC and PA-Semi Cpu.
Are there real difference at this point?

I want to see these difference in a double video: to the left a Sam460 and to the right X1000.

@BillE

The white system with the matching keyboard and mouse look really smart.

Nice chickens too .

for the new systems, i suspect you won't see anything 3D-related until the new openGL stack is completed.

That's the first time I've seen chickens in a picture of an Amiga. :) Awesome! Had to smile when I saw it.

No 3D support for RadeonHD yet.

Defenetely there is a real time difference between AMCC 460 1.1Ghz and single core of PA Semi 1.8Ghz (and up to x2 joy when second core gets used), but system and apps are not yet optimized for both. If someone has 460 and Nemo beta testing, maybe he can at least tell us in words, not in pictures "how does it looks and feels"

Next year and with OS 4.2
Patience!

To be honest, i think that if you want real and very honest opinion , vidios, shots and compare stuff, you need to wait until AmigaDave will get his x1000, and so, he can compare everything, and show all what need to show.

And anyway, as i understand, there is no one who get "first contact" board. Not all the betatesters recieve their x1000 still by some unknown reassons (i know that, because i talk with some of those ones who still wait it).

@kas1e

So Beta testers are getting the machine about any day now (and that is source of presentations, pictures and hardware videos) and First Contact comes to those who can wait and have cash about Christmas.

OS 4.1.3 works OK on X1000, First Contact will come with OS 4.1.4/5 and next year we all get OS 4.2, X1000 users for free (meaning have already paid for it but get OS 4.1 first in first contact).

After the 2010 promises, that is some plan even not so clear to everyone.

Because NDA we will soon enjoy beta testers pics with dogs, ducks and cats

Please have some people too, like in Lilley and X1000

may be. but me trying to be honest, that hardest part is justifying the expense. if you bought into something pricey, you just cant give back if not satisfied, you must somehow find an excuse to keep it. of course this will not influence hard facts as benchmarks, i expect.

Hope many chickens will cross the road to try X1000, OS 4.2 and that promised Lime nettop with OS 4 for lower price next year!

no. they don't need an excuse to keep it. they could just resell it to me.

the white case looks absolutely beautifull but i think the mouse should have a white/red boingball instead of the silver/red boingball.this would fit better to the white/red boingball keys. damn,things are moving forward,im so happy
