his response (at least what I could ascertain) was to threaten to post his derogatory opinions about amiga kit in the public forums at A.org. It is possible that I misconstrued his intentions due to the fact that I think English may be his second language.

I was now able to check what I wrote:

Many thanks for your co-operating. [/qoute] Thank you for this message. you are permanently Banned for threatening to use the forums for your personal Vengeful goals.

But dont worry. I dont think I am going to login to amiga.org ever again. It is done and I rather enjoy discussions at EAB, MZ, Aros-Exec and Amigans.net and maybe here.

Always the victims, bad people all around...
yawn
Bad behavior is bad behavior whoever does it... except it seems when he is on the right side then it is ok. By defending it you sit yourself in the same boat and then people like you moan that the others say "the AmigaOS users" and are not making differences |

what kind of glasses are you all wearing?
Wrong behavior is wrong behavior whoever does it. No single word of excuse, instead again the typical "if one of us is under attack we all defend him" without looking if it is justified or not |

This is too reminiscent of the "good ole days".
Wegster had started this thread, with intent to let people with personal grievances bash each other over the head until they passed out:
Source
part of the reasoning for the thread creation:
Quote:
but I'm quite tired of the blind hatred, ignorance and trolling by both sides, |
Usually when I suggest people take their grievance to this thread, they stop posting and never post in the suggested thread. We always felt it had something to do with attention getting. The same thing happens if you suggest posting in the "off front page" threads. No one goes there. Same reason I believe.
Just my 2¢ from AW history.

| @the 99% AmigaOS user
Amigakit is less a problem than the "99% AmigaOS-supporter" here. Amigakit (Matthew?) has promised to talk to Itix because he knows him and even look if some of the moans are correct and I would trust him there.
But you all cannot resist to start your "standard defending procedure" like you always do. I am a little disappointed now and have to take back my view. AmigaOS community really has nothing in common with the others. I personal will draw my conclusions of it. I do not feel at home anymore at both amiga.org and here. |

| Alright guys, see the dude shaking his fist on the left? Yeah the old dude...
Back in my day;
when 2 men didn't get along and couldn't resolve their problems we had a solution that worked every time, no matter the problem. What we have to do is put gloves on the both of them and send them into the ring to settle their differences as gentlemen do. There is only one stipulation, the man left standing at the end of the day is tasked with purchasing the loser his favorite bottle to assist in the recovery of his wounds.
It works. Problems get solved, people stop bitching and everyone gets drunk.

As Ive said many times before; I generally find your posts informative and generally calm.
What I have objection with is the direct corrolation of being banned on a.org site (which i know is owned by Amikit now) and making a aw.net "Do not buy from AmigaKit" thread from the get go.
Its the pitchfork approach that raises eyebrows, regardless of the validity of the banning that ignited this thread. |

thats social dynamics. if you apporach some guys kicking each other butt on the sidewalk and ask them politely to go behind the corner and continuue there, what are they gonna do, i wonder?

sure. itix only choice was to post some place like here to get his case an appropriate attention, since he has been prohibited any other action. and it succeeded for a reason. for the same reason people on aorg complained, when after the transition the "recent posts" page disappeared. if this is a hindrance, then remove the "recent posts" feature and make all forums hidden by default. wonder, how will that serve anyone. i went, as you suggested. aked questions in vain. must be some reason these threads are off page, otherwise it wouldnt make a difference to leave them "on page". |

I can't speak for anyone else, But I am wearing Zenni Optical, #532015.
Here's a link for you: Zenni Optical
They really offer a great price on a fair quality set of glasses.
If I might try to get back on topic, I simply stated that some people are here to build, while some others are here to tear down.. This was not directed at anyone in particular, nor was it tinged with any specific examples. What I intended to say is quite simple. There are some who seek to improve the Amiga experience for themselves and others, and there are some others who seem to put a much higher value on complaining, bitching, and moaning about whatever they can find to be unhappy about.
I am old enough to have learned this: We will each find whatever we choose to seek. If I make a habit out of looking for things to complain about, then that's likely all I will see. If, on the other hand, I look for things to be happy about, I'll probably find lots of positive thinga around me.
Now just in case my examples are not clear enough, let me offer this challenge to each of us: Look back over your past five, perhaps ten posts on amigaworld. How many of those posts are positive, and how many could better be described as negative?
You can than answer for yourself whether you are here to build or to tear things down.
And unlike the rather vague reply that wawa made earlier, I have made no claim to any property, group, or platform.. and the idea that "as long as I don't consult and realize it's not my own" really has no bearing on the things I have said.
I have leaned that arguing with those who are content with dissatisfaction is probably pointless.. but we each get what we seek. I choose to seek positive people.

That is ok, you can discuss about the thread he was angry because it seemed the new politics and this new moderator even admitted that he did it "to defend the rights of the owner" so Itix thought that this moderator would act on behalf of Amigakit. It seems not so the discussion could have ended. That it continued was because it again happened like on countless other threads,.. if parts of AmigaOS user think one of them is attacked they start to defend him even if he is guilty. Then it became a problem. Do you understand me? |

kjmann's join date on amiga.org is May 2014. He wasn't appointed by BillP like you claimed, the guy is definitely Amigakit's doing.
