that's brilliant. I'll definitely have to give that a try.

@227

I managed to dig out the relevant issues and take some quick photos for you, hopefully the image qualitiy is sufficient enough to read it.

Have fun experimenting.

@Rob

I read that back in the day, it's a pretty neat idea.

Quite possibly this is WAY cooler, though:
Chip tunes from single line of C:

There's at least one more video in the series. Enjoy.

Using "voltage" instead of "potential", which leads to inventing new words like "amperage" instead of "current" (I, measured in A) or possible "charge" (amperehours, Ah or Coulomb, C). Sometimes I don't even know what people mean.

In case you don't have a copy of ImageFX there's a free cut down version on OS4 depot. Despite being on OS4 depot it's not OS4 native so should run fine on your A1200 with 3.x.

Very cool! Reminds me of those RANDOMIZE USR codes on the Spectrum user like me were experimenting with, 30+ years ago.

@Rob

wow again that's really cool.. I found these too.. could they be the full version of ImageFX?

http://www.amigaeu.com/pages/appslist(%23-i).htm

I'm going to try the one you shared as well as these to find out for sure and report back with some samples.

Also with that C audio thing.. is that possible to do with an amiga? I don't have any C / programming software. Well I have AMOS on disk.. but i don't know how to use it and don't see myself learning it. Like, could i enter that text into the CLI shell?

Thanks!
Caleb

you need a compiler. And you need to know how to use it. So no.
