@BigD

Done.

12 seems a small price to pay for Daytona's extra work.

@Daytona

Thanks for offering the stretch goal. Looking forward to seeing the end result.

The Engine is made in C++(no amiga problems there) and the libraries used are SDL(Full supported) and OpenGL(which is supported too). Benitosub said thats the only libraries it will be using.

Correct, but:
Most likely I'll get rid of SDL and use my own trusted framework or excerpts of that to handle input / audio / video / whatever. And I certainly won't use OpenGL directly, because I don't want to rely on MiniGL. Instead I'll use my own OpenGL-like wrapper most likely. That would allow for high quality 1:1 compositing builds without going through WaZp. And it's faster and I have one depenceny less (on MOS and AROS it would translate to TinyGL / OpenGL of course).
However, maybe I'll even get down to manual blitting (at least regarding playfield etc.), at the moment this would also be an interesting alternative (that's the way Battle Squadron for NG-Amigas works btw.). This would have the additional benefit that you can easily add stuff similar to 2xSaI or HQX for people who like it more smooth.
But I'm going to decide that when it's about time and when the PC version (alpha at least) is done, so I have the full feature list and levels with realistic load of entities etc.

Well, I'll claim a bit more. But really just enough to keep things rolling here - and to pay the tons of cigarettes I'll certainly consume during the port.

@Daytona675x

Lots of Amiga optimisations possible then? Sounds good.

Errm, well. It's more about chosing the best balance between best performance at best quality - with least pain

Noticed this comment;

I will update the main page today to reflect that the Amiga version is unlocked :D !!! I'm super excited about it too! I hope this is the beginning of a long collaboration with Daniel to port all our future games on Amiga as well! Since I plan to re-use the same engine, porting future games should be even easier :)

Sounds promising

If the editor will be funded, will it be ported to Amiga as well?
