Absolutely brilliant thanks...
Could you install this on a separate partition/HD and enable boot menu in the BIOS so that you choose whether to boot into Windows or WinUAE? Last edited by daydreamer on 08-May-2006 at 03:09 PM.

Check some "posts" above: Quote:
Believe me, I NEED this, seriously, I have been obsessed for a long time by the idea of turning a windows machine into a "stand-alone x86 amiga-machine"!!!

Yeah, you can. In fact you can use either that option, or Windows boot manager to select which OS to boot into (or exclude both options if a person wants the machine entirely dedicated to amiga os).
@anyone else interested
What would people like to see in an amiga emulation package along the lines of amikit/amigasys/etc ?? ..... for me the 2 big ones missing from any of the current options are a dev environment and a more flexible installer giving the option to completely customize what is installed via the installer,... a very light set-up for those who want to mostly do things themselves, or feature rich/eye candy ladden system for those who are more interested in using it than setting it up, plus of course the in betweens.... these will of course be included in what Im dubbing "Emiga OS3.XT" (working title), but what else have would people like to see ?? |

Two questions for your intresting project:
Did you already find out name of the program that could "remote control" host os (windows)?
Could you give pictures of your friends pc using a500 as a case - and more importantly, is he using a500's keyboard in it and how? |

I can't imagine anyone NOT being interested in this idea! Even people who've done similar projects should be interested (unless their egos are too inflated). Go for it.
