Messy, but good. BTW, what did you do with the rest of your Epistula site? It looks like you've replaced it with just a link to the new screenshot.

Looking forward to the next release.

There are a few (read: quite a lot of) bugs to squash in the MSN plugin since going to protocol v11 but they can wait until AIM/ICQ is fnished, which is currently about 75% done.

And yes, of course

@Slash

Looks really good!

But what advantages does it have, protocol wise, against Jabberwocky which I'm using now? Does it use the same, seemlingly limited, relay-servers?

JW has no features except plain chat for ICQ and MSN which my friends use, but it is very stable, except for one point - I crashes when the network is shut down and JW thus gets Ctrl-C.

So, does Epistula has any other features, especially for ICQ and MSN, like displaying those cute emoticons, filetransfer, perhaps display that personal MSN image, and dare I dream about webcam support, at least from PC to Amiga??

@Deniil715

I'm sure that Slash will confirm this, but I'm absolutely certain that the plugins use their associated protocols directly. Jabberwock uses only the Jabber protocol. It just so happens that Jabber has relay-servers that allow you to interface with other IM systems. With Epistula, the MSN plugin connects to the MSN servers directly via the MSN Messenger protocol. The ICQ plugin uses the ICQ protocol, etc. It's like GAIM, but for the Amiga.

@Deniil715

Talking about webcam support, does Linux even have an MSN Messenger app that supports its webcam/video-chat features? My understanding is that implementing this would be a lot of work as it's based on multiple, complicated standards such as SIP.
