Perhaps it would have been better to PM him back and ask him what his intention was in such a brief answer that did not give you the info you were hoping for before trying to make a public spectacle? By jumping at the chance to get a thread out there it certainly looks as if your interest was disingenuous and that you were just looking to vilify Hyperion in the public's eye.

Crhis say not about his problems and bugs which he found. He talk about whole point to make on hyperion web page, some kind of remark, like "there and there you can post bugs which you found in our OS". The point of Crhis, it's making back-comminicate easyer, and "official" mean here, that Hyperion agree that is way for all of us (and they) to talk about bugs. Right now, HyperionMP just say "use amigans.net". For who that he say ? For Crhis ? For me ? For 10 ppls who read that boring topic ? It must be stated on site, and stated officially by hyperion.

If it will be amigans.net forum - let's be. Then just why hyperion not make a remark about it ? How legal user will communicate, if they not read forums ? What will do Crhis, when Elwood will die ?:)

That all not about "help me plz one time". It's about future and back communication in general.

Okay, it looks like kas1e and chris have a point as far as having a clear path to follow from the source of the OS to the most appropriate bug reporting location, so it would indeed be helpful to have a link on the hyperion site and os docs.

I can understand the confusion as originally AW was the official forum for A1 hardware and OS4 support, but things degenerated and the amigans forum was created for those who wanted a troll-free zone.

Ideally some publically accessible bug reporting facility should be located on the hyperion website but it would have to be handled by betatesters who in turn can report the bug properly via the usual channel and update the status of the public bug report accordingly.
