I felt it was about time i did support new developments on the Amiga and so my first donation on AmigaBounty!

Few question though why not the x1000 developer boards?

and what happens to the money now, is it just stored in a saving accout until the amount is reached, and what happens if the full amount is not reached, I think there nearly enough to buy just a motherboard so mybe that is what we should consider if the amount is not reached after say six months.

Some good questions, but lets try to raise funds first.

Thanks to everyone who has donated so far. Every euro you donate counts and there's now only 260 to go for the first complete SAM Loaner system.

So if just 50 or 60 more people donate 5 euros each the goal is met?

Surely there are that many who want to see the platform advance; and 5 won't make much difference to any individual's solvency but 700 would to the code-writer.Especially considering I understand the code will become public?

Im actually with AmigaHeretic on this one...

Since we are all donation to a worthy cause then I'm sure Acube could sell the systems at cost and a copy of OS4 at at least a discounted rate.

That way not only are us users donating to a very worthy cause, but so are those who's buisness it is to increase sales by more software etc... And the bonus being that we'd achieve the target much sooner and maybe even get 3 machines out of the deal to loan around.

Do you have any specific porting projects in mind with this bounty? If more developers could be added to Jamiga through this loan hardware it would be great.

I'm not going to donate at the moment but I will say it's extremely likely that I will purchase at least 2 X1000 systems...

Guess the SAM flex can then join the SAM in another antistatic bag

Edit: Actually SAM flex didn't end up in another bag, it is still used as a daily machine and serial captures form the X1000
