failed to load shared object libz.so.(solved)

| Just tried to install timberwolf after clicking install got this:
failed to load shared object libz.so... checked SOBJ files from Upd2 with my recent installation - all the same ! Should have Upd2 installed properly and correct.
But anyway tried to do a reinstall of Upd2... same message if trying to install Upd2. This is strange, because I already installed Upd2 without a problem before.
What might cause the problem ? Any known trouble canditates:
I installed Blender, Hollywood, new Stormwizard package and Amiblitz 3.5 lately... ???
thanks for hints, might save me the time for a reinstall procedure. BTW its on SAMep440.

Had same problem after backingup Sytem partition and changing Fileststem to SFS2.
Some how some of the .so files did not seem get backedup or restored.
had to copy the missing .so files manually from an older backup.
Am wondering if my files were missing before trying to install Update 2 and
this is what caused the new versions not to be installed
Just reinstalled Update 2 for clarity

Hi,
I had a problem with some of my shared objects being softlinked to themselves in an infinite loop. I suspect some installer script may have caused it. Maybe the same happened to you. Check your SOBJS: dir and delete the offending shared objects and copy new ones from the upd1 CD, then reinstall upd2.

| Ok, here we go...
somehow libz.so was missing, copied that one over from upd1 and reinstalled upd2, voiila it works. I thought libz.so.1.2.3 was libz.so ? Anyway editing text in timberwolf is really slow, but looking good anyway.
