@Raziel

And SDL2 was also mandatory, but atleast now we have this one (even if still to see if our port is mature enough for port this game)

@samo79

Right

I never checked how the dependencies grew over time.
But yeah, it would be a neat stress test for our SDSL2

Yes, but since no new posts added in the years the question was ok I think?

Hope that someway we get some nice port...we need it.

Do you know what features of boost? Sometimes it's enough to have Boost in include path. For example CannonBall engine needs "just" some headers.

@Mr_Capehill

For Wesnoth, taken from their website:
Quote:

libboost >= 1.48.0 (http://www.boost.org/)
If your distro splits boost, you need: boost_filesystem, boost_iostreams, boost_locale, boost_regex, boost_serialization (header only), boost_asio, boost_program_options, boost_system.
You need gzip and bzip2 support in boost_iostreams.

but it might as well not matter due to this dependency

pangocairo >= 1.14.8 (http://www.pango.org/)

and it either needs SCons or CMake to build...as i never got CMake to run i won' t try to port

I'm waiting myself for Boost to try it on some ports.

Back in 2014 i was told that Boost does "only consist of some header files", but it has yet to be ported :-/

There is actually an old Boost port in OS4Depot. Maybe not relevant anymore though.

But: http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_55_0/more/getting_started/unix-variants.html#header-only-libraries
